Im on 7800X3D, supposedly „king of gaming cpus” and if only people use volatile rounds or strand during these events it shreds my FPS, i drop from always stable 138 fps (my g-sync cap) to like 80 fps

Regardless, I wouldn't be surprising if it was just weighted like lost sectors, not actually knockout. Same. Even creating strike forces that are specialized against different kinds of enemy forces works - theoretically. The main reason why in practice the reaction of strike forces appears very erratic is the simplified calculation of their strengths which can be wildly inaccurate, combined with a helping of bugs in said calculation.

WELL, in face of all that was said, purplosely nerf (or just being "inconsistent" with) the vex event shows a lot how unrespectful is Bungie with their players. The problem is way bigger than just "use discord". We need new exotics as part of seasonal quest from Ikora, just like it's happening with some exotics to new light players. The only way to obtain new exotics is legend lost sectors or the legendary campaign. For swarmers they need to be unlocked by completing the campaign on legend then you can grind legend lost sectors for new rolls. Nah you can just get them from the lost sector.
