It's x16 with no respawn so with patience I can clear areas with safety if I keep in mind that helicopters are on 'sometimes'. This is the rough estimate I'm 'guestimating'. Ideally, I'd love a code-diver to tell me the exact range. Zombie hearing is default, btw. TY in advance.

If you are outside during the helicopter event, the sound it produces will be pinpointed at you. So zombies will chase you specifically like it's personal for them. If you stay indoors whole the chopper is overhead - thd zombies will be pulled into your general area, but not to your specific location. So you can just sit it out. Unfortunately, due to PZ limitations it is not possible to spawn vehicles on rooftops or inside buildings. Thus saying, we are missing the opportunity to set spawns and be able to find helicopters on top of buildings and inside hangars.
