At Darioush Winery on the Silverado Trail, president Dan de Polo said that the family owners of the property who were on the estate when the fires broke are all safe. He added that he has since tasted through the wines in tank and determined them to all be stable and added that the real tragedy is about human displacement.

We visited Darioush winery in Napa on a beautiful fall day. The palace looking winery was built from stones brought over from Persia, and it survived the Napa fires. The owners are Iranian born and we got to learn more about their Background on the private tour. It is quite pricey, but a wonderful experience if you are looking to splurge.
