Master is probably around 1/2 or 1/3 if you're unlucky. Legend is about 1/5. Master is more worth cause you get golfballs. Master is 100% better especially since you need a fireteam anyway for legend so might as well do Master if you can even if its harder/slower.

For titan and hunter (logged into each one at the enclave) they just say "pattern not unlocked" but my warlock is able to craft his. The other ones drop from wellspring.
