In the weeks leading up to the date, I received several emails from Hertz as an educational series about driving the Tesla, such as charging, one pedal driving, etc. As someone who owns a M3 RWD, it was good to know that Hertz was proactively trying to educate those renting EVs about how they work. At $75/day, the price seemed reasonable.
Most of my Hertz Tesla rentals have had the mobile charge kit including J1772 adapter in the trunk. But my latest one only included the J1772 adapter and no mobile charge kit.
