Mar 3, 2011 · There's alot of resistance, so it works better if you be firm with your shifts. All of the factory shifters are vague, and long throw, so if you're willing to put up with high resistance, I recommend the MGW. To me I didn't like the high stiffness with my MGW. I did the anti-venom mod and it helped a lot.

The MGW is still a great shifter and is worlds above stock, but I just found that the Hurst was a little better and can be had for a whole lot cheaper.
