The problem with mine was a wire shorting out connected to the emergency brake. The tech looked under the steering wheel area and the shielding of the wire had rubbed off somehow. Car's cleaner than me, and I tried a 'reboot' (i.e. held the two steering wheel buttons until I saw the logo come back on. It's a 2023 with <6k miles.
