The Drake has high armor and no shields. I was able to kill it with a 20k fleet of corvettes and plasma cruisers only. Just have enough corvettes to use as cannon fodder and the cruisers will nuke the drake easily. I'd say Shard is roughly equal in strengh to the Ether Drake. Around 30k fleet power should work fine, unless maybe if your loadouts are totally crappy. 15k (maybe even less) are enough if you hard-counter it.
