The folks at Knight rifles ( 866-518-4181) said that the original hammer with the conical pointed firing pin is ok to use with the #11 and musket caps.

My Wolverine 209 has the 209 conversion kit already. I have also bought the conversion kit so that I can shoot both forms of ignition. It loves to shoot 100 grains of 777 FFg and any sabot in the 285-300 grain area. I have a NFPJ 209 primer conversion kit for the Mk-85, so I imagine they are available somewhere for the other older Knight rifles. The NFPJ plug in the Mk-85 is an absolute bear to prime, also the plunger style Mk-85 will not handle BH-209 because of the blowback.
