Jul 8, 2022 · I have a 2X2 Proxicast MIMO antenna, however, there is some question as to which connection to use on the Arcadyan Gateway. Currently, I am using M and M1 connections. I mounted the antenna in the rafters (2-story house) aiming toward the T-Mobile cell tower. My cell metrics did not change much. 5G -RSRP -92 with antenna, -93 without; RSRQ -6 ... The Nokia does not display all the information it has available, but you can bet that the KVD21 is particularly barebones because they rushed to get it out without fully integrating everything from a software standpoint. The Nokia has info available that is accessible yet likely never going to be utilized in an official firmware update. The KVD21 also appears to be more of a budget device than the 5G21, construction wise. My guess is that t-mobile added the KVD21 not only to have an alternate source, but also to reduce costs. I'm pretty sure that the Nokia device costs t-mobile more than this Arcadyan devices does. What I do is just turn off the 2.4 network, leaving only the 5.0 network which I use to connect my phones (and use the TMHI app). Range on 5.0 networks is limited, so congestion isn't an issue.
