Mar 1, 2006 · On Wednesday and again Thursday evening after being parked outdoors at ~30 degrees F for ~9 hours, the car started and the VDC off, ABS, SLIP, and 4WD lights stay lit after 2 seconds. Additionally, the 4WD shift indicator does not show up at all. The PF was in 2WD mode (it's still cold, but dry here!) - switching to AUTO or 4WD has no effect ... even went through the fsm for the vdc and slip light diagnosis and troubleshooting looks like i will need a nissan consult computer as it either has my steering angle or decel/g sensor calibration out of whack as reading through both the troubleshooting steps i can confirm my abs system does work, the fluid is full, the brakes have been bled several times trying to fix this (by the body shop i ...Here is what worked on mine: 1. turned off the car. 2. disconnected "-" battery terminal. 3. connected the terminal back on. 4. started the ignition. 5. drove in the straight line for about 100 m. 6. remember no reverse just "d" and drive in a straight line.The ABS, VDC and Slip lights were on my 2010 Altima when I started it this afternoon. GJBenn85. My QX is my third Infiniti and every single one has occasionally had a problem where the VDC/SLIP/BRAKE lights come on. It is extremely common the FX. The owner's manual says they come on when a fault is detected with the ABS, but I have not had any problems with the brakes on any of the cars.
