With a $100 investment and first starting to day trade you can conservatively expect to make somewhere in the realm of -$100. Basically you are almost guaranteed to lose when you first start day trading. If you are fine with losing it then go for it but if not I would risk less, maybe 25 cents or so per trade if possible.
