The SRT has a different steering knuckle that can accommodate the wider 275 width on stock wheels. The dead-safe all-around max width is 255/45/20 for all SRT's and RT's using stock SRT and R&T wheels. The proper stock size for the front on an SRT is 245/45/20. Which happens to be the exact diameter match for the 275/40/20.
