And IIRC it had other symptoms and starting eu4 directly would not work in that case either. If you can't get eu4 to work from the launcher, you can just start it directly. If you want to adjust mods or DLC, you can still do it via the launcher which saves this in the file dlc_load.json and eu4 automatically reads these settings.

Mar 6, 2023 · I don’t know, I think this is just another sign EU4 has been taken as far as it can go. I’m not really a fan of the direction they’ve taken mission trees. I feel like I have to read the whole tree before I unpause the game, otherwise I’ll miss something or not play the way the tree rewards the player for playing. I got the game for free last week and so did my friend so we wanted to play together, however, the multiplayer button didn't work and I couldn't log into my Paradox account. I tried to log in both while logged in and out of my Epic Games account but both times it just said "Failed to sign in. Please check your internet connection and try again."

The above 3 missions will have their rewards depending entirely on the current level of isolation! While we are at it, I took the liberty of changing the bonuses of isolation as I felt that the Open-side was incredibly more powerful than the Isolated side.
