Hi to all, Recently ordered a woodworkers model from onefinity. Now I’am looking to buy a spindle. I looked at 65mm and 80mm in 110v and 220v. Both water cooled. Planning on cutting mostly wood including hardwoods. Possibly soft metals in the future. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Hey Kyle - 40-60ipm is reasonable and safe for most hobbyist machines. I’ve pushed mine to 100 so far without any problems. 176 is pretty fast - well outside the speeds capable by the X-Carve, but OF is capable of doing it. I don’t know what the upper limit for speeds.

What I’ve been doing is. I will start the machine up, and then home it. Everything will home fine. I then move and center the router over the project, and hit the zero button for both the x, and y axis. I will then place the probe I purchased from One Infinity and attempting to zero the z axis.
