If the noise goes away when you touch the throttle or put it in neutral, it sounds like your belt deflection is a "little" on the tight side but perfectly ok. Bought my MY16 new. Intermittent whining noise. Dealer checked it out and said no problems found. Now I'm going on 6 years of ownership with absolutely no problems. I did have the CVT serviced at between 55 to 60k to the protest of the service advisor saying it didn't need it until 100k. I could tell the CVT was happier after the service.
