Duramax ticking noise.

I've come across another drivetrain problem, which are usually a pain in the ass to figure out and track down, especially by yourself. This time, I have a ticking or clicking noise coming from the front passenger side wheel area. The sound gets faster with speed, and slows down while braking. It does it turning left or turning right.sometimes if one pipe is cold and another is hot the ticking noise is the metal contracting and expanding, if it goes away when truck is real hot driven that's your answer ... At long last GM contacted me yesterday and advised that they are working on a repair for the throbbing/knocking sound a lot of 2020 Duramax owners are currently experiencing. Some people do find different brand oil seems to quieten the noise some but experimentation is key for some because not all oils act the same in all engines..
