Personally I find the Kimber a tad too much to carry and a bit finicky as many 1911's tend to be. On the other hand reliability of the P938 is questionable. Mine was fine until about 500 rounds in and I started having issues with hollow points.

The melt package, checkering and night sights are the difference in the CDP that made me choose it over the Ultra Carry. They are worth the addition cost to me. They not be to you.
