The 5 is the cold rating and the 40 is the hot rating so its ok to use in the summer. I was running the T5 10-30 in my 6.0 up until i traded it in. They recommended 10-30 year round for that motor unless you were doing lots of heavy towing. So i would go right ahead and use the T6. If not already installed, the OEM Blue Spring for the fuel pressure regulator will help increase fuel pressure, but not sure if it will help enough under load.
