The big guy is about 12k or so fleet power (that i have put together from my extensive ((read; 1 battle)) testing), and the dlc is entirely worth getting for this alone. Set difficulty to low (cadet, I think), adjust settings to exclude things that do nothing useful, but increase late game lag: set minimum wormholes, minimum hyperlanes, xeno-compatibility off.
