Found that the gray wire on the ignition switch only had 1 volt on it. I let it sit over the winter as Chicago winters can get darn cold.Try properly charging the battery. If the voltage dropped to 9-10 volts it probably won't recover. You can take the battery to almost any auto store and get it load tested too. The battery shouldn't be dead after a few weeks of sitting.
