It’s a fairly noisy cabin with a fairly noisy engine. Like people have stated before you need to step up to the Venza or a Lexus to have a quieter ride. If you’re coming from a five or 10 year old vehicle it’s going to be pretty quiet to you. [deleted]If you’re in the market for a used Rav4, you’re likely looking for the best deals in your area. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to find great prices on used cars, especially ... The 22 Crosstrek has no changes from 21, and the 22 RAV4 has only minor changes from 21. I have driven the 21 RAV4 and there was nothing exciting about it. But it’s a solid car, just like the Crosstrek. The wildcard is the 23+ Crosstrek. There are spy shots online, but we don’t know much about it other than it being an entirely new car.

Apr 27, 2023 ... Can't decide between the two. Rav4 has a superior infotainment, actual AWD, and at 6'3" I could bring my bike in the car.

Something like cabin noise is very subjective. If your coming from a more luxury vehicle that has great sound dampening then it will sound loud asf, but actually be normal. And vice versa. The rav4 has never been known to be great on cabin noise. Especially the 2019 models as they had no hood blanket for insulation.

The cost difference between Hybrid Limited and Prime is around $10,000. For this money you can purchase 2500 gallons. (assume $4/gallon). You would need to drive the Prime for 100,000miles (@40 mpg) before amortizing the investment. However the Hybrid is noisy with a Poor quality passenger seat. Maybe a little more denser, but the charging system would need to be recalibrated for fit the new battery. The prime battery sits partly below the floor so structurally it's impossible to put it into the hybrid. I'm hoping that in 10 years the prime battery will be a little denser to allow up to 100 mile ranges. 2. r/rav4club. The Venza is better looking, has the really cool panoramic roof with push button frost feature (something really unique for this segment), and the AWD system is able to put 80% of the power to the rear wheels which is great - the Rav4 can only do 50/50. The Venza looks better but has less space. Due to the SUV shortage, I literally haven’t test drove any RAV4. The new ravs drive pretty close to the Camry, you just sit up a little higher. Otherwise same drivetrain and similar handling. But I agree with you on the highlander! I had a rental and man was it quiet. The RAV4 hybrid e-CVT is a completely different design, it's a planetary gear set with two motor-generators (ie. no belts, no chains). It is extremely reliable, even more so than a regular torque converter automatic, and the way it harvests energy and uses the motor-generators is simple, reliable but highly effective.

Most mileage on a RAV4 that you'd buy? Gen 3. In the market for a used RAV4 probably going to be 3rd gen for my budget (just went through a total loss in an accident with my 2007 RAV4 V6 Limited at 120k miles RIP!). With the market being as crazy as it is, difficult to find anything under 120k Since the good 'ol RAV4 is known to be pretty ...

jmmaxus. •. Defiantly noticeable size and especially power difference. A bigger concern would be price and from what I’ve seen on these forums is that the Toyota Corolla Cross suffers from big markups although the RAV4 hybrid as well. The RAV4 is Toyotas higher volume vehicle and there is more wiggle room in price.

Hello. I am highly considering buying this 2011 rav 4 limited v6. It has a pretty high price on it given it’s age ($16,500) but in my area that’s average right now. It has only 106k miles and has had 1 owner with a clean car fax. He’s not really willing to go lower on the price and in my area for an older car the interest is like 10% but ... I would say the upgrade from a gas to a hybrid is about 50% better, and from the hybrid to the prime, about a 15-20% upgrade. At least, that's how it feels to me. Plus, the hybrid can be financially justified over the gas. The prime is a stretch. However, if the price (dealer quote) of the hybrid is within 1-5k from the prime, definitely ...There have been five generations of the RAV4 released by Toyota, with RAV 4 specifications slightly different with each incarnation of this popular crossover vehicle, according to ... The RAV4 interior is a lot more "basic" than the CR-V. It's well done and it looks decent, but it's far from the luxury look of the CR-V. It has more space inside, at least visually speaking, I didn't measure anything. The visibility is much better and the transmission is so, so much better than the Honda. The average gas price in Los Angeles, CA today is $4.9 per gallon. The off-peak charging rate for electricity is $0.23 (Southern California Edison) per kilowatt-hour (kWh). The salt corrosion issue has got me worried. I usually drive alone, and am short so even something smaller like Subaru Crosstrek or Corolla Cross Hybrid would work for me. I was willing to shell out extra for a RAV4 hybrid because of its reliability and overall great build quality but this cable corrosion issue has got me worried. The Toyota RAV4 is a terrific car that doesn't seem to fit into any one category. RX350h >> RAV4 I like the RAV4 hybrid. I think it's a great car but the RX is so much more nicer. Especially if you're going to have it for 10 years, might as well have it a nicer 10 years. Performance-wise, they're similar. Gas mileage, the RAV4 hybrid is ~10% better but the RX350h is still pretty frugal.

On the CRV, it just looks too odd and the interior just felt too hectic. YMMV, the 8-speed transmission in the Rav4 is not very smooth.
