Remove all the emissions pins from the LS1 harness. If you are using a 4l60 with your LS engine and the vehicle you are working on had a 4l60 then keep the factory transmission pins and swap them into the LS harness. If you are using a 4l80 then use the transmission pigtail harness you have (assumedly a 6.0/4l80 takeout).

Dirty Dingo slider mounts for about $100 is the way to go. LS motor and any trans will bolt together and drop in with no welding. The NV4500 is also a hair longer than the nv3500 and you will either need to cut and paste your existing driveshafts or get driveshafts from a similar year/model from a gmt400. So next step is remove cluster and figure out why the fuel gauge isn't grounded. Not interested in swapping trans to nv4500. For what the truck is used for I'm not terribly worried about it breaking and if it does ill put another 3500 in it or rebuild mine.
