M-lok spacing couldn’t be perfect because of the distance beyond the last slot on the factory receiver. The “gap” is tight and is a seam, not a gap. This product was designed to add more real estate for mounting accessories. Thank you for your comments. I’ll take them into consideration next time I design a receiver extension.....
