Tinfoil unable to start software.
At this point I've run out of ideas since other NSPs seem to be working. I am hoping someone more knowledgeable then I can assist. Thanks. edit: Reporting fix for anyone who may find this. Launch maintenance mode by holding Volume +/- when launching your payload. Reboot switch and launch payload as usual. 1.
Feb 25, 2024 · Hello! I updated the switch to 12.1.0 and atmos and installed the newest tinfoil version (12.10) . I tried to install xci files but the installations stops... USB Installs. I never really did understand what the difference betweeen the HBG Shop and Tinfoil was, although I understand they are closely related to each other. The way I installed tin foil on 14.1.2 was by placing the tin foil applet nro into the switch/tinfoil folder on the SD with the PC and booting it with full ram by holding R and loading a game to boot hbmenu. It works fine for me. Hopefully this helps you also.
