Totk steam deck performance.
The only change I did was using the 30fps mod instead of the 60fps one. I don't quite think the Deck is able to push anything above 30fps really. I strongly recommend against using Yuzu EA releases as they tend to break performance every now and then. Mainline is perfectly fine these days.

The addition of the scaling feature helps as games that do not run well on Deck can be toned down. The current "meta game" for great performance is either 0.50x or 0.75x render scale docked + FSR. Ryujinx is quite as robust so if a game does not run well, you are out of luck. I would actually have both installed.
It's just not really that possible to run TOTK that smoothly on the deck yet. You might be able to eek out a few more frames by using some other tweaks, but it won't be a very big improvement. Frames just drop to low and sub-20 in certain areas and when you use certain powers. It stutters, but nothing unplayable. Yeah, depending on what you are doing it can go from a perfect 30 fps (say, up in the clouds on a small little plot) down to like 18fps on hardcore scenes on yuzu early access with like the 30fps mod. That being said, it doesn't run perfect on the switch either (I have it on both).Either use the yuzu emu deck control scheme provided during emu deck installation or disable steam input entirely and let yuzu handle your controller directly. The CPU on the Deck isn't powerful enough with the current code to translate everything, but that could be corrected in the future as the code is optimized.
