I really like the EM/euro/pacific split in VXUS, and its somewhat Japan-heavy holdings, which is an overall an extremely undervalued stock market (eg HMC trades at sub book value). But the investing world has hated Japan ever since 1990. And 7300 stocks just seems like way too much diversification.
