Shadow beats strike if you get headshots consistently, if you never get headshots use strike. Though I would personally recommend fury as companions and sentinels can proc that for you and most amps have decent status for a reliable damage increase. So a 150% point strike would make the snipetron have a 50% crit chance (assuming the base crit is correct).
